Update On Our Current Sales Process
In the midst of an ever-changing environment due to the pandemic, it is of the utmost importance to us that we continue to provide clear and honest updates to all of you, regarding how we’re adjusting our processes to keep up with the demands this market has brought our industry. As many are aware, the new home building industry has been severely impacted by material shortages and costs, and we are actively evolving business and construction practices to find ways to safely continue helping our customers close on their new homes.
\Kiella Homebuilders is committed to doing what is best for our community, homebuyers, and team members. While we feel the impact in many ways, the most important concern is the impact it has had on you. Price increases, material shortages, delayed timelines, and more: these are all realities that many of you have likely experienced while on your new home journey. This is the experience for most buyers across the nation as well. Therefore, we have had to adapt our sales process to better serve you.
Below are some changes that you will see to our current home buying process.
Inventory Only Sales
We’ve adjusted to “inventory only sales” which means we are not currently allowing homes to be contracted before construction begins. Like many builders, we’ve had to pause to-be-built home (homes that are constructed from the ground up). Instead, we are offering homebuyers the opportunity to join our interest lists to stay informed on the progress of the home until it is available for purchase. If you are a buyer, or a realtor representing a buyer, and would like to be added to a community interest list, please get in touch with our sales team.
To ensure that we provide the most accurate price on each home under construction, moving forward we will provide pricing when a home has been framed. Once the home has reached the framing stage of construction and has a set price, we will begin accepting offers. This gives you an opportunity to not only price-lock your home, but also have a better estimate on when your home would be complete.
We want to thank you for trusting Kiella Homebuilders with all your home buying needs, and we appreciate you for understanding this change. As always, we want our homeowners to love their new Kiella home as much as we love building it.
