Megan Kiella has worked in the homebuilding industry for almost a decade and in that time, she advanced from a member of the sales team to the President of the homebuilding operation. She has been recognized in her leadership role on a national level in 2019 when she won the National Association of Home Builders Young Professional Award and was named among the Professional Builder Forty Under 40. That same year, she was awarded the Excellence Under 45 award from the Texas Association of Builders. Many of Megan’s achievements in the homebuilding industry are due to her involvement in the Temple Area Builders Association (TABA) where she has held many leadership positions. TABA was founded in 1974 and over those 44 years, Megan is the only President to serve under the age of 30 and one of three women to have been elected to the position. Megan is an active advocate in the community, passionate about fundraising for local charities and giving back. She is most proud of her work fundraising for the Baylor Scott & White McLane Children’s Hospital.
Megan lives in Temple with her husband, Scott Kiella, two children – Kate & Jack, and two dogs – Rio & Tripp. They love spending time with family and attending Aggie sporting events. Megan proudly serves her community and feels fortunate to have incredible mentors in the building industry that have instilled a great sense of pride in her and the work she does as a builder. She will continue to promote growth in our area, support local businesses, and fundraise for causes she feels passionate about.
