Kiella Cares for the Tiniest Texans: A Legacy of Giving Reaches $1 Million

Kiella Cares for the tiniest Texans!

This year’s Kiella Cares Golf Classic hosted on October 12, 2026 at Wildflower Country Club raised $123,500 for Baylor Scott & White McLane Children’s Hospital, with proceeds supporting the hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and the continued development of its NeuroNICU program.

Newborn babies are among the hospital’s most vulnerable patients, unable to communicate when something is wrong. Funds raised will help purchase advanced monitoring systems that allow physicians, nurses, and staff to identify neurological concerns earlier and intervene before complications become life-threatening emergencies.

This year also marked an extraordinary milestone for the Kiella family: surpassing $1 million in cumulative giving to McLane Children’s Hospital through the Kiella Cares Golf Classic and personal family contributions. This achievement reflects a longstanding commitment to supporting the hospital and ensuring children and families in Central Texas have access to exceptional care close to home.

The success of this year’s tournament would not have been possible without the generosity of our community, participating golfers, and dedicated partners. Special thanks to our Miracle Partners, BKV and KPA Engineers, for their continued support and commitment to making a difference.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who helped make this milestone possible! We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to use Kiella Cares as a platform not only to raise funds for McLane Children's Hospital, but also to shine a light on the extraordinary work happening within its walls. It is a privilege to champion the physicians, nurses, and staff who dedicate their lives to caring for the children and families of Central Texas.
